Pakistani cricketer Hassan Ali has revealed that his wife, who is Indian, has moved to Pakistan for him.
During a show, Hassan shared that Samiya gave up her job in Dubai because it was hectic for him to stay there due to his schedule and matches.
“We lived in Dubai for about 1-2 years, but constant travelling became challenging, so we decided to settle in Pakistan,” he said.
The crickteter also recalled the time when he met his in-laws for the very first time during the World Cup, when he had gone to India.
Hassan Ali mentioned that, otherwise, he has never applied for a visa to India.
It is pertinent to mention that an Indian citizen cannot hold dual citizenship, and according to Hassan, his wife is still an Indian but is now living in Pakistan.
Hasan Ali will be playing from Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League (PSL) alongside David Warner and Shan Masood.
During their marriage, the former couple, Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza, also lived in Dubai and frequently travelled back and forth to spend time with each other.
They both have a son together, Izhaan Mirza Malik.
Even after their divorce, Sania continues to frequently visit Dubai. Meanwhile, Shoaib has settled in Pakistan with his new wife, actress Sana Javed.
