Pakistani singer Bilal Saeed revealed that he entered the music industry after completing his journey as a Hafiz-e-Quran.
In an interview with Tabish Hashmi, he said that he still feels a bit uncomfortable whenever he visits his hometown Sialkot, fearing that his former teacher might recognise him.
He shared that his father, supportive of his decision, allowed him to follow his passion for singing, ensuring that Bilal didn’t feel restricted.
Bilal Saeed has also worked in India and he shared that he loves the professionalism there and was the view that it is something we should also incorporate in our industry.
Whether you are a star or a junior arist, when you start working in India you are supposed to fulfill your commitments, he said.

The singer also shared details about his new album which features other singers as well, including Talha Anjum, Asim Azhar, Aima Baig, Fateh, and Young Desi.
Earlier, Bilal Saeed faced criticism for his song “Je Main Rub Hunda” in Diljit Dosanjh’s film Jatt & Juliet 3.
Some of his fans defended the song as a work of art while others demanded an apology from the artist.
Many users requested for the ban of this song for its allegedly blasphemous lyrics. They even spoke in favour of boycotting the Pakistani singer.
Back in 2020, he hurt the sentiments of his fans when the people got to know that his music video featuring actress Saba Qamar was shot in the Wazir Khan mosque, Lahore.
Later, he issued an apology and mosque sequence from the music video was removed.
