Netflix has teamed up with Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, to present a groundbreaking new series marking the directorial debut of Aryan Khan, the superstar’s son. Unveiled at Netflix’s International Showcase on Monday, the untitled project is set against the glittering yet challenging backdrop of Bollywood.
Described as a multi-genre venture, the series promises an “audacious, unabashed, and entertaining ride” that chronicles the adventures of an ambitious outsider navigating the complexities of the Indian film industry. “It blends high-stakes drama with self-aware humor, featuring blockbuster cameos and larger-than-life characters, offering a tongue-in-cheek exploration of Indian cinema,” Netflix revealed in a statement.

Expressing excitement about the collaboration, Shah Rukh Khan shared: “We are thrilled to present this series with Netflix. The Aryan Khan directional debut series is slated for release in 2025 and marks the sixth partnership between Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment, following successful projects like Darlings, Bhakshak, Class of ’83, Betaal, and Bard of Blood.
