WEBDESK: Pakistani actor and director Angeline Malik has launched a jewellery brand called Angelines while undergoing treatment for cancer.
She recently revealed her diagnosis and shared that she is currently going through chemotherapy. To stand in solidarity with women facing similar struggles, she chose to shave her head.
Malik’s jewellery line is more than just accessories—it symbolises strength, resilience, and confidence for women, especially those undergoing chemotherapy. She hopes her designs will inspire women to feel beautiful beyond societal beauty standards, proving that true beauty comes from inner strength.
Speaking about her journey, Malik expressed that she wants to challenge traditional ideas of beauty. She believes that hair and appearance should not define a person’s worth. “Shaving my head is a statement of strength—not just mine, but for every woman facing this battle,” she said.
Her jewellery pieces, made mostly from handmade copper, reflect deep symbolism. The designs feature chains and shackles, representing the struggles women endure. However, Malik sees them not as symbols of limitation, but of power and pride. “These chains should be worn as ornaments of strength,” she explained.
Her initiative has received support from fellow actors, including Saba Hamid and Samina Ahmed, who was seen wearing her jewellery in a picture posted on Hamid’s Instagram.
Through her jewellery, Angeline Malik aims to inspire women to embrace their resilience and redefine beauty on their terms.
