An attempt was made to propagate the death of Imran through a fabricated dialogue between the founder and a jailer. In the fictional conversation reportedly stated by Bushra Bibi, the PTI founder purportedly told the jailer that he knew pressure was being applied to harm him, and warned that if he were killed, the public would not forgive the jailer.
Aleema dismisses these claims, stating that they are “nonsense” and that her brother never made such statements to his wife.
