Two renowned educational institutions from Lahore, the National College of Arts (NCA) and the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD), will soon open campuses in Karachi.
This was announced by Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training and chairman of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan, during a press conference held on Saturday.

Dr. Siddiqui revealed that these campuses would offer short courses focused on skills that lead to employment, targeting the youth in Sindh. He dismissed the notion that the federal education ministry’s operations were confined to Islamabad, stating that its responsibilities extend nationwide.
Furthermore, he announced an increase in the number of courses and centers under the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC). The ministry is also collaborating with several national and international institutions, such as Huawei and Microsoft, to provide training programs for Pakistani youth.
