By The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to establish its own power distribution company.
According to the provincial finance minister, work on the project has already commenced. He added that the power distribution company has been incorporated into the budget for the upcoming financial year.

Finance Minister Aftab Alam highlighted the Chief Minister’s vision to tackle electricity distribution issues comprehensively. He stated that steps have been taken towards establishing the distribution company to address these concerns.
Moreover, he pointed out that the province currently lacks its own electricity distribution infrastructure and highlighted the importance of the distribution company in resolving electricity-related challenges.
