For hotels located in Swat, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) has given free registration.
The choice will benefit nearby hotel owners and draw more tourists to the picturesque valley.
Tashfeen Haider, the director general of KPCTA, made this announcement while visiting the Swat Valley and meeting with local hotels. He clarified that hotel owners in Swat are now able to register their businesses for free with the Tourist Services Wing (TSW) of the KPCTA.

Moreover, he encouraged proprietors of hotels and restaurants to provide first-rate amenities, such as hygienic cuisine. He believed that by doing this, visitors from both domestic and foreign countries would have a favorable image, therefore increasing tourism in the area.
In addition, Muhammad Ali, Director of Administration and Finance, along with other top tourist authorities, accompanied the KPCTA. He also went to hotels and tourism offices in Swat to check on the facilities offered to visitors.
The executives went to see the recently built Fizagat building, which will eventually contain the Pakistan Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, TSW offices, training facilities, and a tourist information center.
