Just a few days after massively reducing the price of Kia Stonic EX+, Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) has announced another price reduction. This time, the price cut has been announced for the Kia Sportage.
According to the announcement on the official social media handles of Kia Pakistan, the company announced up to a Rs. 300,000 price reduction, effective from the 2nd of May 2024. However, it’s important to mention that this is a limited-time offer valid until May 31, 2024.
As per the auto manufacturer, the price of the Sportage Alpha has been slashed by Rs 250,000 and is now available for Rs. 7,300,000 instead of Rs. 7,550,000. Meanwhile, the prices of the remaining variants have been reduced by Rs. 300,000.

Following the price cut, the Sportage FWD now costs Rs. 7,740,000 instead of Rs. 8,040,000, while the Sportage AWD’s new price until May 31 will be Rs. 8,470,000 instead of Rs. 8,770,000.
Furthermore, the Sportage Limited Edition is now priced at Rs. 9,000,000 instead of Rs. 9,300,000. Such offers from automakers have become a common practice in recent months due to the drop in sales caused by the increase in prices.
Having already introduced a range of incentives like priority deliveries, price lock offers, free registration, and zero markups, vehicle assemblers are now resorting to price cuts. According to analysts, if these price reductions don’t drive up demand, car manufacturers may have to consider even more substantial price cuts in the foreseeable future to attract buyers.
