By Pakistani writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar has hinted at casting Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan in his upcoming film, “Mirza Jatt.” This news comes as a surprise to many, given the history of tension between the two celebrities.
In 2020, a social media spat erupted after “The Legend of Maula Jatt” actress criticised the acclaimed director’s remarks towards social activist Marvi Sirmad. In response, the writer stated in an interview that he didn’t hate Mahira Khan but disapproved of her actions.
However, it seems that the two have put their differences aside. Khalilur Rehman Qamar has announced that Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed will star together in “Mirza Jatt.” When asked about their past feud, he simply remarked, “Yes, there were differences, but now we just have to work.”
