A judicial magistrate in Karachi has denied the bail application of Natasha Danish, who faces charges in connection with a drug-influenced car accident that resulted in multiple deaths. The decision was handed down despite reports of a financial settlement between Natasha’s family and the families of the victims involved.
Earlier, Natasha Danish had been granted bail by an Additional District and Sessions Court in Karachi East. The court approved her release upon the submission of a surety bond worth Rs 100,000.
Meanwhile, the magistrate overseeing the case later reserved judgment on her bail request, which was ultimately rejected.

Reports suggest that Natasha’s family reached an agreement with the families of the victims killed in the accident. According to sources, a settlement amount exceeding Rs 50 million was paid to the family of Amina, one of the deceased victims, through a pay order.
Moreover, there are claims that a member of Amina’s family may be offered employment as part of the settlement arrangement. Separate settlements were also made with those who sustained injuries in the accident. These compensations, reportedly based on Islamic law, included payments to the injured parties.
