A private airline flight which was travelling from Karachi to Lahore issued a ‘Mayday’ call, as smoke was reported in the cargo area of plane.
What happened to the flight?
Fortunately, the flight landed safely and all passengers evacuated safely via emergency slides.
The aircraft’s captain, a foreign national, landed the plane with professional skill.

In line with standard operating procedures (SOPs), the airport fire department was on standby to handle any emergency situation.
According to reports, passengers reported that the cabin crew appeared to be under pressure shortly before the aircraft’s landing. The crew also kept checking air pressure in the aircraft as they prepared for an emergency landing.
