KARACHI: In a significant operation on Wednesday, Karachi police dismantled a gang involved in sexually abusing children in Orangi Town and rescued three minors, according to ARY News.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Orangi Town reported that three members of the child abuse gang were apprehended during the operation. The SP detailed that the gang had been luring children with sums ranging from Rs 200-300 before sexually abusing them. Moreover, the suspects were involved in recording videos of the abuse and distributing them within the area.

The investigation began following the disappearance of a child on May 11. This case led police to uncover the gang’s activities. One of the suspects, identified as Nisar, was known for luring children from gaming zones to the gang’s hideout. The children, aged between 12 and 14 years, were then subjected to abuse and trafficked to others.
