United States (US) President Joe Biden has dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s nominee.
Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump,” Biden wrote on X.

Biden has also written a letter to American citizens, stating that it was a great honor for him to serve as their President.
He expressed his desire to run for re-election but has decided to withdraw in the best interest of his party and the country. He will address the nation this week.
It should be noted that before President Joe Biden’s major announcement, his campaign’s National Chair, Senator Chris Coons, mentioned that President Biden was considering who the best candidate to win the presidential election would be.

In his forum address, Chris Coons said that Joe Biden was contemplating who could carry forward the values of the Democratic Party.
Senator Chris Coons stated that this is an internal party matter being discussed publicly.
Previously, former Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi also claimed that Joe Biden would soon be persuaded to withdraw from the presidential race.
