Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to build a modern overseas club in Islamabad, specifically for overseas Pakistanis. The project will cost around Rs27 billion.
The club will provide state-of-the-art facilities such as dining, health, and recreational services. In the first phase, 10,000 overseas Pakistanis will be offered membership, with a fee of $20,000. The club is designed to create a space where overseas Pakistanis can stay connected to their homeland.

Before leaving for Britain, the Prime Minister was briefed on the project by the CDA chairman and other senior officials. He directed the CDA to prepare a detailed plan (PC-1) for the project, ensuring it meets international standards and can generate long-term revenue.
PM Shehbaz also emphasized that the new overseas club should be of higher quality than other clubs in Islamabad, such as Gymkhana and Islamabad Club. Upon his return from the United States, he will review the project once again for final approval and ensure quick progress in its construction.
