The Islamabad administration has decided to launch e-stamp papers in the federal capital.
Talking about the initiative, officials said that following the issuance of the e-stamp papers, the residents of Islamabad can replace the manual stamp paper with it. The e-stamp papers can be used for property and other transactions.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon and representatives of the Punjab Bank also held a meeting in this regard. Memon received briefing regarding e-stamping from the representatives of the bank.

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) announced that soon, residents of Islamabad will have access to computerized stamp paper. These e-stamp papers will feature barcodes for easy verification.
