Federal police directives: wear uniforms on-duty only

In light of the looming terrorism threat, fresh directives have been issued for the federal police. A recent wireless message disseminated the new orders to federal police personnel.

As per the issued notification, officers are prohibited from donning uniforms while arriving or departing from duty. Uniforms will only be worn by officers at their designated duty stations. Additionally, if officers need to leave their duty stations during their shift, they are required to travel in pairs.

Furthermore, police officers are mandated to carry weapons during their duty hours, with the issuance of updated instructions reflecting the current security scenario.
