Islamabad police have arrested Imaan Mazari and her husband. According to police, both were detained in connection with a case of assault on a traffic officer.
Imaan Mazari was taken into custody by the Aabpara police.
It is pertinent to mention that a case had previously been registered against Iman Mazari and her husband. The police have transferred Iman Mazari to the Women’s Police Station.

Scuffle Between Imaan Mazari, Husband, and Traffic Police Over Road Blockades for England Team
Last week, a confrontation reportedly took place between the couple and traffic police over road closures set up for the England cricket team’s protocol. According to sources, the altercation occurred at Islamabad’s Zero Point Interchange during the morning, as the teams were being transported to the stadium.
The sources added that Mazari’s husband allegedly assaulted officers, used abusive language, and issued threats. Islamabad police stated that the couple violated standard operating procedures (SOPs) established for state guests. They indicated that a case would be filed against the two for “interfering in government matters and endangering the security of state guests.”
