Islamabad is getting a smart car parking system

During a meeting led by Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Thursday, it was decided to introduce a smart car parking system in Islamabad.

The meeting highlighted that the implementation of smart parking technology would not only address parking issues but also serve as a source of income generation for the authority.

“It will be an automated car parking system at various locations in Islamabad,” the chairman CDA said.

The decision was made to install trackers on all official vehicles of CDA to prevent misuse, enhance fuel efficiency, and ensure better monitoring of the authority’s transport system.

The tracking system will aid in controlling embezzlement by monitoring fuel usage more effectively.
