Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi embarked on a significant three-day official visit to Pakistan on Monday, marking the inaugural visit of any head of state following the general elections held on February 8.

Today’s schedule for the visit of Iranian President to Pakistan includes several key events. It begins with a call on President of Iran by the Foreign Minister, followed by a meeting between the two Foreign Ministers. President of Iran is also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. Subsequently, there will be delegation level talks between Pakistan and Iran, along with the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). Both the President of Iran and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif are expected to make statements.

Additionally, there will be courtesy calls on the President of Iran by Pakistan-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group led by the Speaker of the National Assembly, as well as by the Chairman Senate. The schedule also includes a meeting between the President of Iran and President Asif Ali Zardari, as well as a meeting between the President of Iran and the Chief of Army Staff.
