Apple has officially released iOS 18, the latest operating system for iPhones, available for eligible devices through the Software Update settings. Users can now download this update for free, giving their iPhones a boost in performance and features.
New iPhones to Come Pre-Installed with iOS 18
The upcoming iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models, expected to be released on September 20, will come with iOS 18 pre-installed. However, older iPhones may miss out on some advanced features like “Apple Intelligence.” Apple’s update strategy often leaves older models behind, as seen last year when the iPhone 8 and iPhone X were no longer compatible with iOS 17.
