Intermediate exams in Karachi are expected to be further delayed, according to the Chairman of the Intermediate Board. As per the Chairman, holding the exams from May 28 will not be possible.

In a statement, he said that he has sought permission to further postpone the intermediate exams by four days. The chairman stated that he has contacted the relevant official in this regard.

The chairman of the board revealed that the postponed exams could be held from June 1. He added that examination centers were set up in more than twenty higher secondary schools.

The officials had scheduled intermediate exams in the morning and matric exams in the evening. The Chairman further stated that the matric exams will be held from May 28 in these centers.

However, conducting both the matric and intermediate exams simultaneously in these centers won’t be possible. Moreover, Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards has called a meeting, which will be attended by the chairman of the matriculation board.
