Bengali actress Sudipa Chatterjee has reported receiving death threats following her appearance on a Bangladeshi culinary show, where a contestant prepared a beef dish.
In the show, Sudipa can be seen interacting with the participant who is cooking the dish, and videos of this interaction quickly spread across social media.
Due to the backlash, Sudipa felt compelled to clarify her involvement. She explained, “I have been wrongly accused of cooking and eating beef during the show, which is completely untrue. I merely spoke with the person who was preparing the dish.”

She emphasised, “I have never cooked, eaten, or even touched beef. Those making these threats should watch the video carefully and show me where I touched the beef.”
Sudipa further elaborated, “Karim Jahan, a participant on the show, was the one doing the cooking. The videos are unedited and available for anyone to view. Nowhere will you see that I have touched beef,” she stated in a Facebook post.
