Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan, were released from Jehlum District Jail following bail approval in the D-Chowk protest case by Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court.

PTI workers and family members of Imran Khan’s sisters were present outside the jail to welcome them after their release. Aleema Khan’s son Shehroze and her sister Noreen Niazi was also present on the occasion.

Tight security arrangements were made by police on the occasion. The release orders of Imran Khan’s sisters reached in the jail after 9 hours of the court’s orders.

Speaking to the media, Aleema Khan shared that they had been held in isolation, with limited interaction allowed with other female inmates.
