The International Cricket Council (ICC) has circulated a draft schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 to its stakeholders, which includes broadcasters and participating teams.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to be hosted in Pakistan, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) holds the hosting rights. However, recent reports suggest that the tournament might involve two countries, as India is unlikely to travel to Pakistan for the event.
According to Cricbuzz, the ICC has circulated a draft schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, confirming that all of India’s matches will be held in Lahore. This suggests that the tournament is not planned to be a two-country event.
According to the draft schedule, India is placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand. Group B consists of Australia, England, Afghanistan, and South Africa.
The tournament will kick off with New Zealand versus Pakistan on February 19. India will begin their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20.

The highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match is slated for March 1, with India’s other group fixture against New Zealand on February 23.
The draft schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 reveals that the two semifinals will be held in Karachi on March 5 and Pindi on March 6. The tournament will culminate with the final, scheduled to take place in Lahore on March 9.
