By WEB DESK: Former captain of the national team Shahid Afridi has announced his intention to reveal the team’s internal story after the World Cup.
During the program “Zor Ka Jor” on Samaa News, host Hafiz Imran asked about the lack of unity in the team, to which former captain and chief selector Shahid Afridi responded, “Mohammad Wasim is also on the panel who has worked in the best manner, he also knows a lot! I also know a lot but cannot speak openly.”
He said, “I have also captained, Sohail has also been with me, your leader should be the captain who takes everyone along, whether the captain ruins the team environment or builds the team, the captain takes everyone along.”

Furthermore, the former all-rounder said that coaches, team management, and the captain unite the team before the selection committee supports it, and the captain’s job is to lead the team on the field.
In addition, Shahid Afridi clearly said, “My relationship with the falcon is of a different kind, if I say anything, people will say that he is supporting his son-in-law, although I am not like that! If my daughter, son, or son-in-law are wrong, I will say they are wrong.”
He said that in recent times, our selection committee and board have made big mistakes, we will talk openly after the World Cup, our people have ruined this unit themselves.
