Huawei to provide free AI training to 200,000 Pakistani youth

During Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to China, a framework agreement was signed with the Chinese technology company Huawei.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, accompanied by cabinet members, visited the Huawei headquarters in Shenzhen, China, where they were welcomed with traditional music.

On this occasion, the Huawei headquarters was adorned with Pakistani truck art.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the Chairman of Huawei held a meeting, during which Shahbaz Sharif extended an invitation to Huawei to invest in Pakistan. Later, a framework agreement was signed between the Ministry of Information Technology and the Chinese company.

Under the framework agreement, Huawei will offer free training to 200,000 Pakistani youth in the field of information technology, including artificial intelligence.

Furthermore, assistance will be provided for the establishment of safe cities, e-governance, cloud services, and the digitization of the economy in Pakistan.
