How to get a job as a dastak representative in Punjab

To create job opportunities for youth, the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has initiated registration for the Dastak Programme. Maryam Nawaz stated that the programme, which currently offers 10 services, will expand to 65 services across all districts.

Registration for hundreds of Dastak representatives has begun under her special instructions. This programme aims to provide doorstep services, minimizing the need for public visits to government offices and helping to reduce corruption and exploitation.

Maryam Nawaz highlighted Punjab’s strides in digitalization, which promises positive societal changes through information technology and artificial intelligence. Youth representatives in the Dastak Programme will offer services at home, earning a respectable income.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for the dastak programme include having an original ID card, being at least 18 years old, having a minimum education of intermediate level, and owning a mobile phone with internet access.

Candidates also need a clearance certificate, a personal motorcycle, and a license from the concerned police station. Selected representatives will receive training to ensure they can effectively deliver services.
