During the Eid-ul-Adha holidays, over 400,000 tourists visited the scenic Galiyat region in Abbottabad to escape the heatwave in Punjab and Sindh.
According to a spokesperson from the Galiyat Development Authority, Nathia Gali was the most popular destination, attracting a record 200,000 visitors. Among these tourists were international visitors from France, Japan, Germany, Nepal, and China.
Over the span of five days, more than 100,000 vehicles made their way to Galiyat. To accommodate the influx, facilitation centers were established at various locations, including Nathia Gali, Dunga Gali, and Ayubia.

As per reports, all possible amenities were provided to the tourists, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience in the Galiyat region.
This surge in tourism highlights the appeal of Galiyat’s natural beauty and the efforts of the local authorities to promote and manage tourism in the area effectively.
