In a candid interview, veteran actor Hina Dilpazeer disclosed that she was compensated with a single actor’s salary despite playing 25 different characters in the popular comedy-drama “Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewah.”
Hina Dilpazeer explained that the comedy series initially featured only three to four characters. However, as the directors and writers struggled to find actors for additional roles, they would persuade her to take on these extra parts. The “Bulbulay” star revealed that over the course of the series, she portrayed 25 different characters, including five male roles.
When asked about not seeking additional pay for her numerous roles and the considerable effort she invested in the drama, Hina cited the producer’s financial difficulties. She felt it was inappropriate to demand separate remuneration for each character under such circumstances.

The actress also revealed that the drama was unexpectedly shut down by channel authorities after more than 400 episodes, without any clear explanation. “We had no idea when we received a notice from the channel that the next episode of ‘Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewah’ would be the last one,” she recounted.
Addressing concerns about being typecast due to her roles in “Bulbulay” and “Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewah,” Hina confidently asserted her versatility as an actor. Although offers from other projects dwindled after her work in the comedy series, she expressed gratitude for the opportunities she did receive and remained optimistic about her career.
Hina Dilpazeer said that she does not wish to remain caught in a “rat race,” as it stifles an artist’s creativity.
