The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that Eid ul Adha is likely to be observed on Monday, June 17, 2024 in the country.
Every year, Muslims across the country eagerly await for Eid ul Adha. It is a time for joy, reflection, and spending time with animals, adding a special meaning to the occasion.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Eid-ul-Adha 2024 is expected to fall on June 17. The Met Office Climate Data Processing Centre has predicted that the crescent moon for Dhul-Hijjah will be born on June 6 at 5:38 PM.

“At the time of sunset, the age of the moon in Karachi will be 26 hours and 8 minutes,” PMD stated. It added that “the duration of moon sighting is likely to be 72 minutes after sunset.”
The Climate Data Processing Centre of PMD, Pakistan, stated that the moon must be 19 hours old to be visible.
