In a recent report, the monthly salary and privileges of Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) have been made public.

According to details, an MNA takes home a total of Rs. 188,000, which includes Rs 150,000 monthly salary and other allowances worth Rs 38,000.

Furthermore, another 25,000 rupees is paid to every chairman of the national assembly’s standing committee. This takes his total earnings to Rs. 213,000.

Moreover, they also get paid for attending a session of the National Assembly or Standing Committee. As per documents, MNAs are paid Rs 8,800 for attending these sessions.

The documents reveal that MNAs receive Rs 150 per kilometer for air travel and Rs 25 per kilometer for road travel. They also get annual travel vouchers worth Rs 300,000, Rs 90,000 in cash, and 30 business class open tickets.
