Aim to Reduce Educational Gap in Remote Areas
The scholarship program seeks to reduce the educational gap in underserved areas, providing equal opportunities for academic progress to students from these regions, similar to those in more developed areas.
Scholarship Benefits for Students
The scholarship covers all major costs, including tuition fees, hostel expenses, a monthly stipend, and allowances for books and travel. According to the HEC, around 250 students from Gilgit-Baltistan have already been placed in universities across the country for their undergraduate studies.
