The ongoing heatwave in Karachi is predicted to persist for another four to five days, according to the Early Warning Centre of the Meteorological Department. The temperature during the day is expected to rise by 3 to 4 degrees above the average, possibly reaching up to 38°C.
The usual sea breeze is expected to remain inactive, with winds likely to blow mostly from the northeast and northwest. The weather is expected to remain extremely hot not only in Karachi but also in several districts of rural Sindh over the next few days.

Areas including Sujawal, Thatta, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, and Tharparkar will also be gripped by the heatwave.
However, the Meteorological Department has forecasted that there is a possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by rain in Umerkot and Tharparkar today and tomorrow, providing some relief to the residents of those areas.
