Pakistan is set to begin its Hajj 2024 operation on May 9 from eight airports across the country, as reported by ARY News on Thursday.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has finalized arrangements for the Hajj 2024 flight operation. Four airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Saudi Airlines, Air Blue, and Serene Air, will participate in the Hajj operation.
Vaccination of pilgrims will commence on April 30 at the Hajj Camps. A total of 69,500 pilgrims will embark on the spiritual journey under the government’s scheme.
The Hajj 2024 flight operation will be conducted from Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, and Faisalabad airports.
All pilgrims in the Hajj camps must receive mandatory vaccination ten days before the commencement of Hajj flights.
Pilgrims will be provided with essential items including a suitcase, hand-carry bag, shoe bag, Ihram belt, and a green scarf with the Pakistani flag.
