The National Assembly and Senate will review a key constitutional amendment bill today, with the session starting shortly.
The government has secured support from Maulana Fazlur Rehman and addressed his party’s concerns, leading to the cancellation of a planned meeting with Nawaz Sharif and the Prime Minister as per Aaj News.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s backing is crucial for the bill’s approval. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other key figures, including President Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, have engaged with him to ensure support. Additionally, a PTI delegation met Maulana Fazlur Rehman last night.
