Punjab government has introduced a new initiative to provide free motorcycles to orphaned students. This program is part of a larger scheme that offers interest-free motorcycles to students, led by Secretary of Transport Ahmad Javed Qazi.
In a recent meeting, Secretary Qazi discussed the progress of the program and plans to speed up the distribution process. Following the Chief Minister’s announcement, the scheme has officially started, with motorcycles being handed out to orphaned students.
To make the process smoother, special booths have been set up at 11 universities. These booths help students with important tasks like opening bank accounts and completing other necessary paperwork.

Secretary Qazi emphasized that this initiative not only helps students but also promotes environmental sustainability by providing electric motorcycles. “These motorcycles will help reduce smog and improve the environment,” he said.
Students can also choose from different motorcycle models, giving them the freedom to pick one that best suits their needs.
