WEB DESK: The government has begun work on the review of the Afghan Transit Trade Agreement, and the Ministry of Transit Trade has been tasked with preparing revision proposals for the agreement.
According to sources, the Ministry of Commerce will consult with all stakeholders and inform them of Afghanistan’s import requirements. The government has also decided to establish a Border Control Authority to prevent smuggling, which will coordinate a joint response from all relevant agencies.

Sources indicate that measures to prevent smuggling will be implemented during the review of the Afghan Transit Trade Agreement, and the Ministry of Commerce will prepare a report within a month.
