The government has decided to extend the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) to include additional beneficiaries.
According to sources, the goal is to raise the number of BISP beneficiaries to 10 million, up from the current 9.3 million cardholders.
Sources revealed that a dynamic survey is being conducted to expand the program’s reach. This survey is taking place in select districts across all four provinces, with new offices being established in remote areas to aid the process.

They added that special attention is being given to people from Balochistan in the dynamic survey. Mobile registration units have been deployed to remote areas in Sindh and Balochistan.
Furthermore, BISP’s mobile vehicles are actively registering deserving women.
Earlier, the federal government raised the budget for the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to Rs. 593 billion, marking a 29 percent increase from the previous year.
