The Mohandri Bridge, damaged by recent floods, has been rebuilt, reestablishing access to the Kaghan Valley. The Kaghan Valley Road, which had been closed for 14 days, is now open again for travel to northern areas and Naran.
The collapse of the bridge had disrupted the link between Kaghan Valley and Balakot. The newly built bridge was officially inaugurated by Member of National Assembly Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, Captain Safdar, and other officials.
The reconstruction of the Mahandri Bridge was carried out by Pakistan Army and Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The newly rebuilt bridge has been reopened for all types of vehicles.
Due to the Mahandri Bridge collapse, roads connecting Mansehra, Kaghan, Naran, and Babusar were closed, causing significant issues for both locals and tourists.

In response to the urgent situation, the National Highway Authority (NHA) and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) initiated an emergency reconstruction of the bridge.
The Pakistan Army supported the effort by providing essential equipment, while FWO deployed machinery and personnel around the clock to complete the project.
The closure of Kaghan Valley Road due to the Mohandri Bridge collapse had resulted in substantial financial losses for the hotel industry.
