On Tuesday, gold prices decrease in Pakistan, reflecting a decrease in international rates.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs700, settling at Rs275,000 in the local market.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs600, bringing it to Rs235,768. This decline comes after a brief increase in the previous session, where the price per tola had risen by Rs200 to Rs275,700 on Monday.

The drop in local prices aligns with international trends, where the global rate of gold decreased by $6 per ounce, closing at $2,653 per ounce (with a premium of $20), as reported by the APGJSA.

Despite fluctuations in gold prices, the silver market remained stable, with the price per tola holding steady at Rs3,050.

Gold prices have been volatile recently, with last month seeing a record high of Rs277,000 per tola in Pakistan.
