KARACHI: The gold market in Pakistan witnessed a notable uptick, with prices soaring by Rs 1800, catapulting the cost of 24-karat gold to Rs238,900 per tola.
According to sources, dealers observed a parallel trend in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which experienced a dip of Rs1543, now valued at Rs204,818.

Additionally, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also witnessed an upward course, reaching Rs187,750. Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat silver is holding steady at Rs2,610.
On the global front, the surge in gold prices was also evident, with an increase of $17, marking a significant rise to $2,290 per ounce.
