Gold prices in Pakistan continued to rise on Saturday, following increases in international markets. In the local market, the price of gold went up by Rs500, reaching a record high of Rs272,500 per tola.
Similarly, 10-gram gold is priced at Rs233,625 after a rise of Rs429, according to the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Silver prices remained stable at Rs2,950 per tola.
This follows a sharp increase on Friday, when prices surged by Rs3,500 to hit Rs272,000 per tola. On the global stage, gold prices rose further, with the APGJSA reporting the international rate at $2,622 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $10 gain for the day.
