WEB DESK: One of the richest people in India, Gautam Adani, had a lesser income in the fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2024, than many of the executives who report to him, as reported by The Times of India.

Moreover, Adani, 61, was paid a total of Rs 9.26 crore, which was less than most of his colleagues in the sector.

Furthermore, just two of the 10 businesses that made up Adani’s vast ports-to-energy conglomerate provided him with profits. He received a compensation of Rs 2.46 crore from Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL), the group’s main company, according to the annual reports of these 10 listed firms.

However, this amount includes a salary of Rs 2.19 crore as well as Rs 27 lakh in perquisites, allowances, and other incentives.
