Fourth monsoon spell to begin in Punjab tomorrow

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has announced that the fourth monsoon spell in Punjab will commence tomorrow (Monday).

The PDMA has issued an alert to relevant institutions, urging them to finalize their preparations for the anticipated rainfall. It has forecasted monsoon rains in Punjab from July 22nd to 25th.

Expected to affect Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Bahawalpur, these showers are part of the fourth monsoon spell of the season.

Monsoon rains are also anticipated in Faisalabad, Sahiwal, and Gujarat divisions during this period.

The Director General of PDMA has issued an alert to relevant authorities regarding the upcoming weather conditions. Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, WASA, Irrigation, Rescue, Civil Defense, and other relevant departments have been directed to stay vigilant and prepare for the expected rains.
