Former Azad Kashmir PM arrested

Former Prime Minister (PM) of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, has been arrested by the Margalla Police in Islamabad.

Ilyas, who belongs to the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), was taken into custody after a case was registered against him at the Margalla Police Station.

According to a police spokesperson, Ilyas faces six serious charges, including attacking a private company’s office.

The arrest followed a thorough investigation and legal proceedings.

The police will continue with the investigation and legal processes accordingly.
