A case has been registered against Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Deputy Leader Pir Zaheer-ul-Hassan Shah for threatening the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa.
The case, registered by SHO Hammad Hussain at Qila Gujjar Singh police station, includes charges against the TLP deputy leader and 1500 workers.
According to the police, the case incorporates sections of the Anti-Terrorism Act, religious hatred, inciting unrest, and exerting pressure on the judiciary.
The FIR includes provisions under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA), as well as charges related to spreading religious hatred and inciting unrest. It also covers accusations of pressuring and threatening the higher judiciary, interfering in state affairs, and obstructing the performance of legal duties.
According to the text of the FIR, Pir Zaheer-ul-Hassan incited hatred against the higher judiciary in a protest outside the press club.

Earlier in the day, the federal government announced that it would not tolerate any malicious propaganda against the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) and warned that strict action would be taken against those responsible.
