WEB DESK: Finance Ministry dismisses media reports of July 1st petroleum levy hike.
The Ministry of Finance has categorically stated that recent media reports suggesting an increase in levy on petroleum from July 1, 2024, are baseless.
Moreover, in an official statement, a spokesperson for the ministry clarified that there is currently no plan to raise levy on petroleum products, nor has any decision been made in this regard.
