Previously, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had requested adding PTI leaders to the no-fly list due to a case involving the Al Qadir University Trust, which allegedly caused a 190 million pound loss to the national treasury.
The accusations state that the former prime minister and others misused Rs50 billion, equivalent to 190 million pounds, provided by Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA) for the government.
The PTI chief established the Trust for the Al-Qadir University Project on December 26, 2019.
