Star cricketer Fakhar Zaman has urged Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi to focus on administrative reforms rather than making frequent changes to the team.
Fakhar’s bold remarks were highlighted during a video discussion shared by former cricketer Rashid Latif on Twitter, titled “Fakhar Slams PCB For A Massive Six.”
In the video, Latif and TV presenter Dr. Nauman Niaz discuss Fakhar Zaman’s statements made during the recently held PCB Connection Camp. Fakhar had reminded Chairman Naqvi of his earlier comments about performing a “surgery” on Pakistan cricket to improve team performance.

However, the cricketer suggested that the real issues lie with the administrative personnel around the chairman and their interactions with players.
Dr. Nauman Niaz further explained that Fakhar voiced frustrations over the process of obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for playing in international T20 leagues. Fakhar recalled an incident where he was granted an NOC to participate in Australia’s Big Bash League but was unexpectedly called back for national duty after reaching Australia.
He also recalled when he received an NOC to participate in the 2024 Caribbean Premier League (CPL). After a gruelling 30-hour flight to the Caribbean, he was unexpectedly summoned back to Pakistan the very next day for a fitness test.
